"COME&SEE" Festival

Published: 02.08.2022

On July 23 and 24, 2022, a team of LAG - Gotse Delchev - Garmen - Hadjidimovo and local community representatives took part in the "COME&SEE" Festival organized by LAG Kavala/LAG Kavala Development S.A, Greece.

The hosts of the festival are MIG Kavala/LAG Kavala Development S.A.

COME&SEE Festival The MIG team and folklore performers from the territory of the    LAG - Gotse Delchev - Garmen - Hadzhidimovo took part in the "COME&SEE" Festival, held on the territory of our Greek partners under the "Come and See" project - Kavala Development Agency. Our Romanian partners also participated in the festival - LAG Lunca Joasă a Siretului and LAG Lider Bistrița Năsăud from Romania.

The festival is an emblematic representation of the principles underlying creative tourism through the creation of a local experience supported by the involvement of communities, as well as the involvement of partners in activities to acquire knowledge, learn and put into practice the local spirit and culture.

During the two festival days, the program included:

1. Culinary workshops in the courtyard of the Church of the Assumption, during which participants took part in the preparation of local foods specific to the region, demonstrated by local associations - zucchini dishes and sweet cookies.
2. Workshops for joint performances of Bulgarian, Romanian and Greek songs and dances.
3. Festival program in front of an audience.
